Selling Mnangagwa’s Portrait-Picture Is A Crime, Govt Says

The Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services is advising all public institutions, corporates, private business entities and members of the public that the official portraits of President Emmerson Mnangagwa are available for collection at its head office in Harare as well as the ministry’s provincial and district offices throughout the country.

In a statement, the ministry said those who need the portraits can request using its distribution chain.

It also said the ministry has not sub-contracted any other institution or individuals to distribute them on behalf of government.

The ministry also clarified that the President’s official portrait is not for sale, adding that anyone found selling it would be committing a criminal offence and liable for prosecution.-state media
