Chamisa said: “When we met with President Trump in America alongside Biti, he asked us how much we needed to move the country forward and we told him that we needed $15 billion.”
“He assured us that the money will be disbursed soon after winning the elections. He told us that he had faith in us because we don’t behave like Zanu PF crooks.”
Chamisa also called on Joice Mujuru to consider joining MDC he said, “Vana mai Mujuru please come with your parties and join rwizi rukuru Save (Morgan Tsvangirai). We have done a pact with all these parties but we are moving forward to form a grand coalition.”

Of course, the Americans have no confidence in the Zanu PF thugs, look not even their “all weather friends” the Chinese would trust the Zanu PF crooks. Zanu PF begged the Chinese for cash to bankroll the party’s US$27 billion ZimAsset, the Chinese only gave then President Mugabe a few million dollars’ worth of post-dated cheques.
Still the Americans are not that naïve to consider MDC a competent lot either – certainly not to be trusted with $15 billions! It was former USA ambassador to Zimbabwe, Chris Dell, who said Tsvangirai was a “flawed and indecisive character” back in 2007. Events have proven the ambassador was right. Only a fool would trust a flawed and indecisive character with $15k much less $15 billion!
Chamisa is trying to impress his naïve and gullible MDC supporters, that is all.
Fake news. Trump wants $25 billion for his border wall, where will he get $15 billion to give an MDC administration for a S-hole banana republic? $15 billion seems to be a figure that is quite popular in Zimbabwe, $15 billion in diamond revenue went missing not so long ago….very interesting.
Well how do you know the depth of the story, remember the United States is the one which helped MDC to recover the economy during the unity government,The United States is currently sitting on a GDP of 10 trillion dollars, and you think 15 billion won’
t be enough for them to spare
Please do your research before commenting! Lack of Western and Chinese support to Zimbabwe is a myth. In 2015, they added 35% to Zimbabwe’s revenue (which of course meant Mugabe’s income). That was set to rise to a massive 80% – virtually doubling Zim’s revenue – in 2016-2018 – although I can’t find out how that has been affected by ED taking over. In other words, the West and China played a major role in actually helping Mugabe to stay in power as long as he did, despite posturings about sanctions.
