MDC Alliance campaign goes rural

The MDC Alliance Presidential candidate Adv. Nelson Chamisa and his fellow principals will this weekend take their campaign to the rural hinterland as despondent Zimbabweans anxiously wait for a new government that will bring real and positive change in their lives.

On Saturday, President Chamisa will be addressing a rally at Murehwa growth point in Mashonaland East province. On Sunday, the MDC Alliance campaign trail moves to Nzvimbo growth point in Chiweshe, Mashonaland Central province.

The MDC Alliance Presidential candidate Adv. Chamisa, who hails from and grew up in rural Gutu in Masvingo province, will be firmly in his element as the campaign trail heads for the rural areas. Zimbabweans across the country, especially those in the rural areas, are clamouring for a change of government following dismal and shoddy service by the clueless lot currently in government.

The country tasted real change and prudent service delivery mainly due to the late President Morgan Tsvangirai whose competent hand on the wheel of government as Prime Minister saved Zimbabwe from the brink of economic collapse in 2008. President Chamisa and some of the principals in the MDC Alliance were part of that team that infused new dynamism and positive change in the people’s lives between 2009 and 2013.

As a party, the MDC has a firm and solid imprint in the rural areas and the MDC Alliance campaign trail will henceforth be heavily tilt towards the rural areas, where the majority of weather-beaten Zimbabweans reside.

Zimbabweans are eagerly waiting for an exclusive government of change and transformation agents.

Behold, the new.
