South African anti-illegal immigration movement March and March has called on President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration to release detained opposition activist Bhekimpilo Mbedzi, arguing that Zimbabweans have a constitutional right to protest peacefully.
The Zimbabwe Constitutional Movement (ZICOMO) has noted reports in The Sunday Mail dated 26 July 2026, quoting the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Ziyambi Ziyambi, that Government has commenced the process of aligning approximately 12 Acts of Parliament with the recently enacted Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment Act No. 3.
